Easter Holiday break

Easter is a great time to travel to Italy. It is one of the biggest holidays in the Italian calendar and if you think you will miss out on yummy Easter eggs, no need to worry as the Italians love colourful and delicious Easter eggs as much as we do!

With longer sunny days and temperatures between 46°F and 66°F, Italy is perfect at this time of year – some say at it best. Evenings can be cool in the hills but the villas and apartments have an environmentally friendly heating system so you won’t need to worry about feeling cold.

All accommodation is spacious, airy and set in vast grounds surrounded by stunning views so if you are looking for some time to relax, catch up on reading, or perhaps painting is your pleasure, then we have it all here.

Or maybe you fancy a culinary trail through Tuscany? Surrounded by world famous wine producers, you can try some of the most distinguished wines in the world and with local farms and hilltop towns within a short drive you can taste some incredible cheeses and olive oils…..and take some home of course!

For lovers of history, architecture and art, Cignella could not be better placed. The wonderful towns of Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Cortona can be visited in a day. And save time for other gems such as Montepulciano, San Grimignano and of course the thermal spa towns scattered across the region.

 

 

The closest airports are Perugia, Pisa, Rome and Bologna, so start tapping on those keys and book up your flights. You’ll need a hire car to make the most of your time with us and we have ample parking to make life that little bit easier.
